Our Process

At POLISH LAB, detailing is not rushed. It’s controlled, deliberate, and repeatable. Every step is designed to protect your vehicle while enhancing gloss, depth, and finish quality.

The POLISH LAB Exterior Process

We use deionized (DI) water, professional-grade equipment, and surface-safe techniques tailored for luxury, performance, ceramic-coated, and wrapped vehicles. Our process prioritizes safety, swirl prevention, and long-term finish preservation.

  1. Pre-Foam Surface Treatment

For painted vehicles, we begin with an alkaline pre-foam that breaks down insects, road film, and organic contamination before contact. For wrapped or delicate finishes, we use a pH-neutral pre-foam to ensure complete surface safety while loosening grime.

  2. Chemical Dwell & Contaminant Breakdown

The foam is allowed to dwell for several minutes, allowing the cleaning agents to dissolve contamination at a chemical level. This reduces friction and minimizes the need for aggressive contact during washing.

  3. Controlled Rinse Technique

We rinse strategically to remove loosened grime and chemical residue while preventing contamination from reattaching to the surface — preparing the vehicle for safe contact washing.

  4. Contact Wash with Premium Microfiber Media

A meticulous contact wash is performed using pH-balanced solutions and premium microfiber wash media. Each section is cleaned using controlled techniques to prevent cross-contamination and preserve high-end finishes.

  5. Spot-Free DI Water Rinse

A purified DI rinse removes remaining soap and minerals, leaving the surface clean, neutralized, and ready for protection.

  6. Ceramic Sealant Application

A professional-grade ceramic sealant is applied to enhance gloss, improve hydrophobic protection, and provide UV resistance while helping maintain the finish between services.

  7. Precision Blow-Drying

Filtered air removes the majority of water from the surface without unnecessary contact, reducing the risk of streaking or towel-induced marks.

  8. Compressed Air Crevice Flush

We use compressed air to clear trapped water from mirrors, trims, badges, grilles, and panel gaps to prevent hidden drips or water spotting after completion.

  9. Final Towel Finish (New Microfiber Towels Only)

Any remaining moisture is removed using a brand new, high-quality microfiber towels reserved for finishing, ensuring a flawless, streak-free result.

  10. Finishing Details

Door jambs, trim edges, and exterior glass are refined to complete the service, leaving the vehicle crisp, protected, and presentation-ready.

Zero shortcuts. Zero compromise.
